Terms of Service

The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and SpearCompute Sdn Bhd ("AIShield", "we", "us"), a company registered in Malaysia. By creating an account, downloading our app, or using our service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

AIShield is a mobile and web application that helps protect users from AI-generated threats including voice clones, deepfakes, AI-powered phishing, and other forms of AI-driven fraud. The service uses machine learning, threat intelligence feeds, and the Anthropic Claude API to analyze and identify threats.

What we don't promise: We can't guarantee that AIShield will catch every threat, or that we won't occasionally flag a benign message as suspicious. AI security is a fast-moving field — we update our detection daily, but new attack types emerge constantly.

Your account

To use AIShield's full features, you create an account with an email and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
• Be responsible for activity under your account
• Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if younger; users under 18 should have a parent or guardian agree to these Terms)

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use AIShield for illegal purposes or to violate others' rights
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access our service in ways that harm performance
• Submit content you don't have the right to share
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the service's security
• Resell or redistribute AIShield without an Enterprise agreement
• Use the service to develop a competing product

Violation may result in account suspension or termination, and where appropriate, legal action.

Subscriptions & payment

Free tier

The Free tier is available indefinitely with no payment required. We may impose reasonable usage limits.

Pro subscription

Pro is offered at $4.99/month (or $3.99/month billed annually) plus applicable taxes. Subscription begins at the end of the 7-day free trial and renews automatically until canceled. The trial requires no credit card; you'll be prompted to add payment when the trial ends.

Enterprise

Enterprise pricing is custom and governed by a separate signed agreement.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period.

Price changes

We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. For existing subscribers, we'll notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel anytime

You can cancel from your dashboard at any time, in two clicks. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not satisfied with Pro within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, email support@aishield.com for a full refund — no questions asked. This applies to your first paid subscription only, not to renewals.

Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if it's required by law. We'll provide notice and a chance to remedy the issue except in cases involving fraud, illegal activity, or security threats.

Intellectual property

AIShield, our logo, app, and all related content are owned by SpearCompute Sdn Bhd. Submitting content to AIShield (e.g., suspicious messages for analysis) doesn't transfer ownership — you keep your data, we just process it to provide the service.

Threat detection signatures, intelligence feeds, and AI models are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

Disclaimers

AIShield is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The service will detect 100% of threats
• The service will be free of false positives
• Any defects will be corrected immediately

AIShield is a security tool, not a replacement for personal vigilance. If something feels suspicious, trust your instincts — even when we say it's safe.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIShield's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100.

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Disputes & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be settled by arbitration in Kuala Lumpur under the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), in English, by a single arbitrator.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. For material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
